Sunday doodling
Well, I sewed on the buttons on Sean's new pajamas and they are ready to mail on Tuesday. They look kind of big but I figure they can always roll up the sleeves and pantlegs. When it gets warm at night, I'll make him some s/s, short pants ones. It seems that little boys pajamas are hard to find in the stores without paying a fortune. I don't mind making them. I can do a pair in about two and half hours. I'll also send Brian's birthday gift and a little something for Sarah that I bought. Last night I killed a bumble bee in the kitchen that was the size of a 747. Sophie came out to me whining so I went and looked and there he was. He wasn't easy to kill. I hate bees and flying bugs. There have been several big bees hovering around the kitchen door and I guess someone let one in. Tomorrow we will go to the parade to watch Eben march in the parade with the boyscouts, and then listen to his band concert. After that, we'll go to Lisa's for a cookout. Ma is now making stuffed eggs. After church, I have to help Jackie count the money for today and then deposit the money on Tuesday, as the bank is closed on Monday. Jackie and I do things a little differently, so it takes us a while. Ma will come home from church with Marylou. It's four o'clock and I'm waiting for a phone call and trying to think of something for supper. We went to the store for lunch. I had a toasted biscuit with a slice of tomato and cheese cooked on it in the pizza oven. It was very good. I might do some scrapbooking tonight, or perhaps I'll knit. I'm trying to get some things made for the church's sale in August. I have a few dolls to dress; I want to make a quilt to sell; some cobbler's aprons and pot holders, some baby clothes, and some other odds and ends. Whatever we make, we get to keep towards Christmas shopping. We'll have a food table and coffee station and a place for church information. I've got to get busy! All for now. Hi to the Readers' Club! Love you Tilly.
